Architectural Plans for Woodville and Tyler County
If you're going to do it, do it with ONYR.
Woodville is the county seat of Tyler County, named for George Tyler Wood, who served as governor of Texas from 1847 to 1849. Three US highways cross here, US 69, US 190, and US 287, and the Big Thicket National Preserve stretches south and west of town. Local landmarks include the Allan Shivers Library and Museum and Heritage Village, an open-air collection of original older buildings such as a church, a school, and a log cabin.
In a Piney Woods county seat, the building work is a blend of old and new: courthouse-area offices, church campuses, homes on wooded lots, and the occasional business along the highway. ONYRverse Digital Designs is a Beaumont studio about 51 miles to the south. We design and coordinate remotely and make scheduled trips to Woodville for site measurements, drone capture, and meetings with owners and building committees.
County Seat Buildings With Decades of Changes Behind Them
Offices, storefronts, and meeting halls near the square have usually been remodeled several times, and rarely with drawings to show for it. Before we can design anything new, we need to know what is actually there. We measure the building, photograph existing conditions, and build an accurate model and as-built set. From that base, proposed changes are drawn against reality instead of assumptions.
Where a renovation moves walls, adds load, or changes mechanical systems, we coordinate licensed structural and MEP engineers and fold their work into one consistent package.
Older buildings tend to reveal surprises once finishes come off, so we list assumptions and exclusions in writing and treat any early figures as estimates, never guarantees. If ONYRverse builds the renovation, the build price is set after the drawings are complete, usually cost plus with fixed fees for mobilization and administration, and the owner deals with one point of contact the whole way.

Church Campuses in the Piney Woods
Congregations around Woodville often grow their campuses one building at a time: a fellowship hall, then classrooms, then a covered drop-off. We help committees plan the whole campus so each phase connects to the next. 3D views let members see the space before they vote, and clear scope documents help when the committee meets with builders. We keep design decisions organized so they are settled once, not reopened after bids.
Committees also need to explain a project to the whole congregation. We provide presentation views and simple floor plans that can be printed for a bulletin or shown on a screen during a members meeting, so the people funding the building understand what they are paying for.
When a congregation prefers a single team, ONYRverse can carry a fellowship hall or classroom wing from the first sketch through construction. Our builds come with a 1-year craftsmanship warranty, and every subcontractor on the job has to match or exceed it. Committees that already have a trusted local builder can still take the finished plans to bid and keep that relationship.
Homes and Cabins Off the Highway
Wooded lots near the Big Thicket and around the lakes to the west draw full-time homes and weekend places alike. We site the house to save good trees, keep a safe distance from the tallest pines, and detail roof connections for storms. Tyler County is outside the TWIA catastrophe area, but storm wind still reaches this far north.
For a new cabin or house, the owner decides how far to take us. Some want a finished permit set for a local builder they already know. Others want one team from blueprint to build, and on those projects ONYRverse holds the build contract, Evan Simon serves as Site Construction Manager and the owner's contact on site, and TRP Land Clearing & Excavation clears the homesite and cuts the pad before framing ever begins on the lot.

Woodville Project FAQs
Can you plan a phased church campus for our Woodville congregation?
Yes. We design the complete campus concept first, then break it into phases your committee can fund over time. Each phase is drawn so utilities, structure, and circulation connect cleanly to the next. 3D views help members see the plan, and we coordinate licensed engineers so each phase has a complete, permit-ready set.
We are renovating an older building near the Tyler County courthouse. Where do we start?
Start with accurate as-built drawings. We measure and model the building as it stands, note conditions that affect the renovation, and then design the new layout against that base. Where systems or structure change, we coordinate structural and MEP engineers. The result is a set a builder can price without guessing at hidden conditions, whether you hire your own or have ONYRverse carry the renovation through construction.
Does a new home in Woodville need windstorm certification?
Tyler County is not in the TWIA designated catastrophe area, so WPI-8 certification is generally not required for insurance eligibility. We still show connectors and a continuous load path on our plans, because hurricane remnants and severe thunderstorms bring real wind to the Piney Woods, and tall trees raise the stakes.
Woodville is over 50 miles from Beaumont. Is that a problem?
Not for the design work, which happens remotely through shared models, drawing sets, and calls. Site visits are scheduled trips for measurements, drone capture, and meetings with your committee or builder. We do not have a Woodville office, and we plan each visit so it covers every on-site need we can anticipate.
